Hello! My name is Cole and I am the proprietor of The Independent Pianist. I’ve been playing and teaching the piano for more than 20 years. My passion is to bring this beautiful music to everyone I can. Also, I like my audience to have a chance to really understand the music that I play.
That is why I started my youtube channel “The Independent Pianist.” On my channel, I post a new video every week in which I perform a great piece. I shoot the videos from an overhead angle and accompany them with the score and a structural outline. Then I also briefly discuss some of the background around the composer and the piece.
